About Calixto Ramirez
Calixto Ramírez has more than 30 years of experience in the mineral industries. With a bachelor's degree in Geology from the Universidad Autónoma de México, and a doctoral degree in Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology from The University of Texas at Austin, Calixto Ramírez has worked in a wide range of areas.
His professional experience started a researcher for the Mexican Institute of Petroleum (Instituto Mexicano del Petroleo), and throughout the years extended to executive research and operations in the glass mining industry, – from field and laboratory researcher, to general director of mining and processing plants.
